Connect an AI app
Last updated October 28, 2026
Keel has a connector for AI apps. When you add it to Claude, ChatGPT, Meta AI (Muse) or another app that supports remote MCP servers, you can ask that app about your dashboard data. The app sees and does only what you can, with your permissions.
Connector address
https://crossbar.me/mcp
- Type: remote MCP server, streamable HTTP.
- Sign-in: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE (S256) and dynamic client registration. You do not need an API key or a password for the app.
- Discovery:
https://crossbar.me/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcpandhttps://crossbar.me/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server.
Who can connect
You need the permission "Connect outside AI apps" (and "Use the company AI account") in a company that allows outside AI apps (Settings › AI). Owners and Management have it by default; an owner can add it to other roles.
Claude
- In Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app), open Customize › Connectors, press + Add and choose Add custom connector.
- Paste the address https://crossbar.me/mcp, keep the sign-in settings Claude finds, and press Continue. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds it first in Organization settings › Connectors; then you connect it in Customize › Connectors.
- The app opens a sign-in page on this site. Sign in with your work Google account, pick the company and press Allow.
Free plans may add one custom connector.
ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT, open the Plugins page (chatgpt.com/plugins), press + and choose Add custom MCP server.
- Give it a name, paste the address https://crossbar.me/mcp as the public endpoint, set authentication to OAuth, confirm the warning and choose Create as a plugin.
- The app opens a sign-in page on this site. Sign in with your work Google account, pick the company and press Allow.
Your ChatGPT workspace admin may have to allow custom MCP servers first.
Meta AI
- In Meta AI (Muse) on meta.ai or in the Meta AI app, open Settings › Connectors. If you see Add custom connector, choose it and paste the address https://crossbar.me/mcp.
- If there is no such button, write this to Muse in a chat: "Create a custom connector. Name: Keel. URL: https://crossbar.me/mcp. It is a remote MCP server (streamable HTTP) with OAuth sign-in."
- The app opens a sign-in page on this site. Sign in with your work Google account, pick the company and press Allow. The page names Meta AI and shows that you return to www.meta.ai.
- Muse asks for your approval before important actions. Remove the connector any time in Settings › Connectors.
Meta does not review custom connectors. If Muse says it cannot add one, Meta has not turned custom connectors on for your account yet; this site cannot change that.
Other apps
- Any app that supports remote MCP servers (streamable HTTP) with OAuth sign-in can connect.
- Add a server with the address https://crossbar.me/mcp. The app finds the sign-in endpoints by itself (OAuth discovery and dynamic client registration).
- The app opens a sign-in page on this site. Sign in with your work Google account, pick the company and press Allow.
What the sign-in page shows
- The name of the app and the address it returns to. An address that is not Claude, ChatGPT or Meta AI gets a warning: allow it only if you added the connector yourself.
- The company the app may read. Pick one, or all of yours.
- What the app can do: read what you can see, use the same AI tools as your Ask widget, and make changes as you. With your "AI actions" setting on "Ask me first" (the default), each change waits for your Approve in the dashboard. Batches, cancels and voids always wait.
If it does not work
- "No AI access" after sign-in: your role does not have "Connect outside AI apps", or your company turned outside AI apps off. Ask an owner.
- "This app is not registered": remove the connector in the app and add it again.
- The app cannot reach the server: check that the address ends in
/mcpand starts withhttps://. - To disconnect, remove the connector in the app, or revoke it in Settings › You › AI after you sign in.
For AI apps that read this page
To help a person connect: add https://crossbar.me/mcp as a remote MCP server (streamable HTTP) with OAuth. Registration and sign-in are automatic. Do not ask the person for a password, a token or an API key; the sign-in page on this site asks them to sign in and to allow access.
